Off Trail Media was separated from SelectConsultants in order to differentiate their business models. SelectConsultants was formed in 2001 to provide software development and I.T. services to small business clients. Web publishing began as a side project but developed into a major focus.
Off Trail Media, like SelectConsultants is owned and operated by Steve Schwettman. A variety of contractors are employed to address specific needs within our projects. Most of our contractors are located in the United States and we do feel a responsibility to employ from as local an area as possible.
Educated at the University of Cincinnati in the Computer Engineering program, University College
Information Systems program, and College of Evening and Continuing Education Computer Science program.
Hired as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, rapidly receiving promotions to
full-time Data Systems Coordinator.
Served as Vice President of Information Systems for Cyberset Technologies / T.F. Logic corporations in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Took a leave of absense from T.F. Logic to form SelectConsultants in 2001. Relocated to Colorado in 2004.
Steve enjoys a wide variety of outdoor adventures including backpacking, day hiking, mountaineering,
mountain biking, snowboarding, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.
Steve is also a classical guitar player. Music samples can be found at SRS Classical MySpace.
Steve is also an avid lover of passionate science and engineering, and always has a multitude of projects
in the garage workshop (garage built entirely himself of course).
Steve lives in the beautiful rural mountains of Colorado and believes that daily life in this environment
provides the unique perspective on life, work, and values that make Off Trail Media a standout succes
in the competitive field of digital publishing.
